A Little Humor

I just received this link from my daughter, Erin. Hmmmmm...she thought it was "hilarious"! I guess I'm so used to my "Mom Jeans" that I forget they are a fashion faux pas. She gave me a good laugh on this cool, early morning! I mean really, I just got rid of my 13 denium "homeschool" jumpers last year!! (maybe you have to be a homeschool Mom to understand the trama of giving away my 80s "uniform") But...never-the-less, I'm still hanging on to my long white sweater. I've worn it since Brad and I were dating (30+ years), I snuggled with our babies while wearing it and I fully intend to snuggle our grandchildren in it! The kids will probably bury me in it! So much for fashion sense!

I'm on a roll... here's another MOM JEANS video.

I like your sweater, and there's nothing faux pas-y about it:o)

80's uniform?? We were still wearing our denim homeschool jumpers well into the 90's. ;) I think that is one thing I'm never going to be able to wear again, lol.

Now that applique vest comment REALLY hurt! (And guess what I just donated to the thrift store this very morning? Whew! I am now guilt and applique-vest free.)

Sigh.... I wouldn't mind looking like the moms in those jeans.

Love,
Renee

Where did your daughter find that video of ME in my mom jeans? hehe

Several years ago my daughters forced me out of the mom jeans and into something in between. My jeans still ride much higher than theirs, but not old lady like. I guess I'm really cool now...right!

I tell you, this is so much to be said about a female and her jeans :o)

Sorry, I gave up the jumper a long time ago and I didn't even homeschool. Maybe I should have. I live in jeans every minute I can.

Oh my those were a hoot. However, I am feeling very dowdy right now. What exactly is there out there for us to wear. Those low cut show the belly things? I think NOT!

OH that was funny!

hmmm, I didn't think it was that funny either. I thought the gals looked cute. Of course I have never been the "fashion plate". ;-)

And... I wish they still made sweaters like that white one of yours!!
Love, Bee

Diane ~ You never cease to make me chuckle! Fashion is cyclical; Mom jeans will rise again! ;o)
